AoHE becomes UK ambassador for the American Piston Foundation

The Founder and MD of Association of Heritage Engineers Dominic Taylor-Lane is extremely privileged to have been asked to be the UK Ambassador for the Piston Foundation, an organisation founded by Robert P. Minnick in the USA that has many of the same aims and goals as the AoHE.

Both the Association of Heritage Engineers and the Piston Foundation are not for profit organisations looking for members and benefactors to help fund, encourage and promote the training of a new generation of master craftspeople to ensure the future of mobile heritage , heritage engineering and car culture.

Dominic Taylor-Lane said ‘ It is a fantastic opportunity to broaden the resources and influence of mobile heritage enthusiasts across the globe, we are in contact with colleges in France, New Zealand and now the USA, which is home to some 25 million classic car fans. We aim to make the skills our industry excels at part of a new resilient, adaptive, sustainable repair based future economy in which young people will be at the heart’
